The last post was all about “more is more”, but is this all old school? So, let’s talk about Florian’s rig, starting with his picks and ending with the speakers.

Now we have to go through two chains. Let’s start with chain “A”, the main chain.

The second or “B” chain makes the whole tone fatter because the MIMIQ not only splits the signal in two, but also adds some kind of phase shift and a bit more digital “magic”.

Not everything here is old school, but it’s definitely a cool rig to play on. But now all the FOHs are going to kill us because we need four guitar mics, but hey… more is more.

The future is now and most guitarists find themselves able to downsize their rigs by playing modelers or profiling amps with cabinet simulations. Don’t get us wrong, it’s handy to have to carry less weight, especially when you’re playing live and need to carry stuff to the venue.

But we’re old school and we live that with Hellforce. So we bought two Marshall fullstacks to spread even more rock’n’roll than ever before. And it looks cool, doesn’t it?

After we managed that our old website lasted from 2008 to 2022 for 14 years (old school) it didn’t go on like this anymore.
